For those of you who have questions regarding the homeowners’ program, we will be holding an information session on Tuesday, October 15th from 5-7pm.
A representative from the DEC will be present to answer the permitting questions. The application for resiliency & restoration money is available at: https://hcr.ny.gov/lake-ontario-st-lawrence-river-flood-relief-and-recovery-grant-program. I strongly recommend everyone who has a need to apply.
At this point, I have no new information regarding the announced Business Assistance Program.
Silver Waters Ambulance is sponsoring a Flu Shot Clinic on Saturday, October 19th from 9-noon. Bring all your insurance cards and get your flu shot. No one will be turned away for inability to pay. Wayne County Public Health will be administering the shots.
This is very important! Please gather your damage pictures and complete the survey put out by the IJC’s Great Lakes Adaptive Management Committee. This is the committee that can recommend changes to Plan 2014. Even if you only had minimal issues, please complete the survey. The survey can be found at: (https://ijc.org/en/glam/watershed/questionnaire/high-water-levels-2019)
