A good way to learn more about the water levels and the current lower water is to participate in this public meeting next week.
IJC AND NEW YORK STATE: WE WANT YOUR INPUT
International Lake Ontario – St. Lawrence River Board to host virtual public meetings
WHEN: JUNE 15 @ 6:30 PM-7:30 PM
JUNE 17 @ 6:30 PM-7:30 PM
Storm water Project:
A couple more days of sidewalk work remain. Today the street ends along Wickham Blvd and the area along the west side of the ball field will be completed.. The remaining work is planned for next week. The goal is to get all the sidewalks open late next week.
Tomorrow the curb on the north side of Greig St will begin to be poured. A crew will be onsite Saturday to open all the driveways.
Next week the asphalt crew will be here to fix all the driveways on the south side of Greig St and a few on Wickham Blvd.
The following week the box out and paving along the curbs will take place. This will remove the loose sections of gravel and asphalt to provide the proper base for the roads.
We also expect to see the blue stone cap to go on the flood wall next week.
All of the final roadway milling and paving will take place in July after the July 4th holiday.
Beach Dune:
The stones for the street ends are now installed. The interpretive signs have also shipped and will be installed by the end of the month.
The village tax bills are out and should have all been received by now. They can be paid at the village hall, by mail or on the web site https://soduspoint.info/online-payments/ via credit card or e-check.
Wayne County continues to have many COVID19 vaccination clinics. Check the county Health Department web site or Facebook page. They pop up fast.
Feel free to call or email with any questions or concerns.
