Storm water Project:
The contractor will not be working in the roadways on Friday before departing for the holiday. Work will resume gradually next week focusing on Wickham Blvd.
The landscaper is due back tomorrow to plant the bio-retention area of the ballfield. We have also asked that they clean up the beds around the ballfield.
All of the final roadway milling and paving will take place beginning the week of July 12th and will last approximately 2 weeks.
The pump stations are delayed, waiting on the electronic control parts which are due late in July.
Why are the concrete curbs angled? Where there was space in the road right of way we used gutters to collect and move the water to the storm drains. Where there was not room for gutters we used mountable curbs. These curbs were chosen in recognition that many people use their entire yards for parking from time to time. The mountable curbs are easy to drive over but will channel the water to the storm drains.
Water & Sewer bills will be mailed today and are due by July 31st.
The village office will be closed for the holiday on Friday, July 2nd and Monday, July 5th.
Feel free to call or email with any questions or concerns.
