The Sodus Point Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a special meeting public hearing on Wednesday October 15th, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. via zoom video conferencing from the Village Hall at 8356 Bay Street those interested can follow instructions at soduspoint.info to discuss the following applications:
- Area Variance, Ted Welter, 7594 Second Street, to construct an 8x10 shed 1.1' from east property line and 3' from south property line where 5' is required. (CODE 190-22)
- Special Use Permit, Bruce Carey, 8443 Bay Street, Requesting special use permit per business plan and site layout. Retail business or service not otherwise provided. (Retail Business or service not otherwise provided herein) Special Use Permit Required. (CODE 190-8)
- Area Variance, Kristen Hyland, 7586 Fourth Street, to construct a 1504 square foot single family structure with an 80 square foot shed per plot drawing on existing footprint allowing 35% lot coverage where 30% is allowed. (CODE 190-11)
- Area Variance, Victoria Struck, 7599 N. Fitzhugh Street, to construct a 12’x’19’x22’ deck with a 9’x3’ ramp per plot drawing 10’ from north property line where 25’ is required and 5’ from east property line where 25’ is required allowing a structure over 2’ tall where corner lot clearance is required.
