LEGAL: Sodus Point Zoning Board of Appeals Public Hearing Notice 7-14-25
The Sodus Point Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday July 14th, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. via zoom video conferencing from the Village Hall at 8356 Bay Street those interested can follow instructions at soduspoint.info to discuss the following applications:
- Area Variance, Vivian Dendecker, 8403 Wickham Boulevard, to construct to allow to maintain a living fence to remain and grow to 10’ tall. (CODE 121, 190-22(g))
- Area Variance, Sodus Bay Yacht Club, 7437 Irwin Street, to construct a 12x24 Shed 16’ from breakwall where 25’ is required. (190-11)
- Area Variance, Thomas Infantine, 7568 Sixth Street, to install a12x16’ deck 29” off grade with 2 sets of stairs allowing for 35% lot coverage where 30% is allowed. (CODE 190-11)
- Area Variance, Margie Spence, 7558 Seventh Street, to construct a 8'x7' front deck with 3 stairs going to the south, 3' from front property line where 25' is required allowing for 41% lot coverage where 30% is allowed. (CODE 190-11)
- Area Variance, William & Rebecca Patton, 8583 Greig Street, to construct a 4’ fence to a the edge of the breakwall where fences need to stop 10’ short of mean high water. (CODE 121, 190-22(g))
