The Sodus Point Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a meeting and public hearing on Monday April 13th, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. via zoom video conferencing from the Village Hall at 8356 Bay Street and Fiddlers Green 6800 Placida Rd B18 Unit 269, Englewood FL 34224 those interested can follow instructions at www.soduspoint.info to discuss the following applications:
- Use Variance Area Variance, SBJSA, 7430 Clover Street, to construct a 3310 Square foot Nonprofit club or recreation use which is not permitted in a residential district (CODE 190-8)
- Area Variance, SBJSA, 7430 Clover Street, to construct a 3310 Square foot Nonprofit club or recreation use which is not permitted in a residential district, 7.34’ from east property line where 12.5’ is required and 18.16’ from front property line where 25’ is required allowing 36% lot coverage where 30% is allowed. (CODE 190-8, 190-11 and 190-49)
- Area Variance, Kathy Van Acker, 7525 John Street, to construct a 10’x12’ front porch 3.7’ from the front property line where 25’ is required allowing for 60% lot coverage where 30% is allowed. (CODE 190-11)
- Area Variance, Ben Lang, 8627 Greig Street, to construct a 7’x16’ side deck 3’ from west property line where 5’ is required and 22’ from front property line where 25’ is required. (CODE 190-11)
