The Village of Sodus Point Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on July 21, 2015 at 7:00PM in Sodus Point Village Hall at 8356 Bay Street, Sodus Point, NY 14555 on the following applications: An area variance request by Duane Moore of 7496 South Fitzhugh Street, Sodus Point, NY 14555 to build a 6’ x 40’ privacy fence, 1’ inset from property line for privacy when zoning limits residential fence height to 4’. Adjacent property owners are: NORTH: St. Rose Catholic Church; SOUTH-Smith; EAST- St.Rose Catholic Church; WEST-Schmidt, Davies. An area variance request by John Santelli of 8299 South Shore Road, Sodus Point, NY 14555 to build a roof over existing north deck, 16’ from front property line when 25’ is required. Adjacent property owners are: NORTH- Sodus Bay; SOUTH-Village of Sodus Point; EAST-Jeffrey; WEST- Krenzer. An area variance request by Gerber Homes for 7068 Bayview Drive, Sodus Point, NY 14555 to demolish old house and rebuild new one story home 22’ from front property line when 25’ is required. Adjacent property owners are: NORTH-Seymour; SOUTH-Farrington; East- Sodus Point Golf Club; WEST-Crane, Kyle. An area variance request by Ryan Palmitesso of 7447 Irwin Street, Sodus Point, NY 14555 to build an east second story dormer style roof addition 14” from south property line when 5’ is required and a west waterfront second story 11’x 16’ deck 1.08’ from front line when 25’ is required and .2’ from side property line when 5’ is required.
